Just released, the long awaited Standard AS 5369:2023 is now available for purchase from Standards Australia Store

This standard will replace both the AS/NZS 4187:2014 Amd 2:2019 Reprocessing of reusable medical devices in health service organisations
and the AS/NZS 4815:2006[Superseded] Office-based health care facilities — Reprocessing of reusable medical and surgical instruments and equipment, and maintenance of the associated environment.

This new Standard specifies the requirements and practices necessary for the effective and safe reprocessing, storage, handling and transportation of reusable medical devices and other treatments.
