Following the Australian Government National Cabinet meeting held on Thursday 30 December 2021, COVID-19 Test and Isolation Protocols have been provided.
The protocols provide guidance on the definition of close and other contacts for COVID-19 and a step-by-step process for managing test and isolation requirements in different scenarios.
It is important to note that States and Territories will implement the National Cabinet decisions at different stages based on their local situation and you should check with your local State or Territory Health Department for implementation detail.
