Welcoming Two New Board Members to the DAPA Team

The Dental Assistants Professional Association (DAPA) is thrilled to announce Damian Mitsch and Rebecca Lawley's appointment to our Board of Directors following the recent Annual General Meeting. Their combined expertise and passion will be vital in advancing DAPA’s mission to support and advocate for the dental assisting profession.

About Rebecca (Becc) Lawley
Becc brings over 13 years of experience in dental assisting and a strong passion for fostering growth and capability within organisations. Her career has encompassed managing various businesses in the dental sector, demonstrating her versatility and leadership skills. Currently, Becc contributes to the Dental Health Foundation at the ADA Victorian Branch, and manages grant submissions. The Foundation is dedicated to arranging pro bono dental treatment for disadvantaged individuals unable to access public health services. Her background and dedication to community health make her an invaluable addition to the DAPA Board.

About Damian Mitsch
Damian joins the Board with extensive experience in governance, strategic leadership, and advocacy. He has held senior executive and board roles across multiple professional associations, showcasing his ability to drive industry reforms and cultivate collaboration. Damian’s proven track record of effective leadership will contribute significantly to DAPA’s efforts to elevate the dental assisting profession and foster meaningful change within the sector.
